Homesearch

The Homesearch webite will be unavailable on Thursday 10th June 2021 due to a planned upgrade.

As a result of this there will be a limited service from Housing options and Homesearch. Housing options calls will be limited to emergency cases only.

The website will be available again when the bidding cycle opens the following day, and will have some exciting new features such as the ability to access the full website on your mobile device and the ability to upload any documents or information that maybe relevant to you.

Exciting changes are coming soon to the Homesearch web page. We will be highlighting some of these changes over the coming weeks within our news articles and outlining how these will benefit our customers.

First up we have a key change to the way you log in to Homesearch. 

Once our new website goes live in the coming months all applicants will be required to set up a secure password. This will be in addition to your memorable date. This will help to make applications more secure as anyone trying to access an account that is not theirs will then need not only the log on reference and memorable date but also a password as well.

Your password will need to be a combination of upper and lowercase letters, and numbers.

We will advise all customers of when the new webiste will be going live soon, and when you log in for the first time you will be prompted to set up your password with a few simple clicks.

Currently there are no drop in services running for Housing Advice, Homesearch and Private rented advice.

During the second lockdown starting on the 5th of November Homesearch will continue to advertise Social Housing each week in the normal way. Most landlords have advised that they will not be changing their current procedures, these include, Virtual viewings and sign ups. Remember to check this site each week for new properties and ensure that your application, including contact details are up to date.

If you are struggling to afford your housing, we would advise you to seek help now.

The earlier you take action, the greater the opportunity for you to keep your home.
