Registration

You will be able to apply for properties if you have registered on Homesearch  see who can use the service

When you are accepted on to the housing register we will tell you:

  • Your housing application number
  • The band your application has been placed in and your priority date.  
  • The number of bedrooms you are entitled to.

You must tell us if there are any changes in your circumstances so that we can reassess your application and make changes to your band and priority date.

Your application will be placed in one of three groups according to housing need. Within each group, applicants will be sorted according to how long they have been waiting within their group.  This can take up to 10 working days. In some cases where further information is required, or where there is a question of eligibility this make take longer. Incomplete applications will be deleted after a period of one month.
