Extra Care Housing

Extra care housing is for people who don’t need 24 hour supervision but can no longer live on their own.

In extra care housing you can get meals, personal care services and other services, social activities and facilities. It is sometimes called assisted living or housing with care. It is usually provided in flats with shared rooms for activities.

Social workers allocate some extra care housing and can help you decide what kind of accommodation you need.
