Welcome to Homesearch, Bath & North East Somerset Council’s choice based approach to allocating social housing.

At present there are just over 7000 applications waiting on the Homesearch register. We are able to advertise approximately 500 properties per year.

Homesearch aims to give you more choice in deciding where you want to live. Properties that are available for rent will be advertised each week in a weekly advertising cycle.  We will also display lettings results.

You must then tell us which properties you are interested in. This process is known as registering an interest. You may only bid for a property if your application has been accepted onto our housing register.

Our homesearch website is packed with useful information to help you find you a suitable home. You can use this website to:

• Search for available properties
  
• Apply  for a property (please bear in mind that applications that are incomplete will be deleted after a period of 1 month).
  
• View results  of previous lettings
