Basic Guide for Homesearch bidding / Registering Interest in a Property

Properties are advertised weekly on the Homesearch website  www.Homesearchbathnes.org.uk, in selected local newspapers and on adverts displayed in some Council reception areas.  The adverts will give as much information as possible and include photographs where we have them.

  • To bid on line, from the home page, select the tab at the top called 'log on/ my account' , enter your Homesearch reference number and the date of birth of the main applicant.  Select 'Click here to see the properties that you are eligible for '.
  • To bid using the automated telephone service call 08452701239. You will need your Homesearch reference number, date of birth and property reference number.
  • To bid using SMS Text on 07781484692 please use this format Homesearch Ref (space) Date of Birth (space) Property Ref. For example 9999 (space) 16011976 (space) 789.
  • If you are interested in a property select apply now to bid.

After bidding has closed a shortlist will be produced for the Registered Social Landlord.  The RSL will then contact the person who is top of the shortlist.

If you are at the top of a shortlist but your circumstances have changed the Landlord may refuse to offer you the property because your application will need to be re-assessed.

Please log off when you have finished.
